What does this mean? Windows Network Administrators or Human Resource personel (with domain privileges) can assign access control cards to users without having LiNC-NXG installed locally on their computer. Cards can be added and even deactivated utilizing Windows "Active Directory Users and Computers tool". LiNC-NXG™ will then automatically make those cards active within the access control software. In short, the task of adding or deactivating access control cards can now be done by authorized personel in a few easy steps, without learning the "Ins and Outs", or even accessing LiNC-NXG.

FEATURES

  • Visitor cards can still be created in LiNC-NXG without having to create a user account in Windows.
  • Temporary employees can be added to Active Directory and have their cards expire when the user account in Windows expires.
  • Allows for new card information to be entered one time and the user data updated in both systems (the System Network & LiNC-NXG).
  • When adding a new employee and assigning a card, a drop down list will appear in Active Directory to assign card number and access group information to automatically be queried by LiNC-NXG and then recorded and distributed to the access control system.
