Innovative
Commercial Burglary and Access Management System
iAM™, the next generation of alarm and access
control systems is now available from PCSC. iAM is
an integrated intrusion and access control system provided
on one simple controller.
A system designed for the novice, yet capable of meeting
some of the most sophisticated security needs of the
user. Simple and Automatic, yet can be fully configured
by the user. The iAM is so advanced it stands by itself.
The iAM operates right out of the box. Utilizing
English displays, the user can follow simple instructions
to program and display the necessary parameters of
the system. Customization can be accomplished with
a self-loading Windows program, LiNC-Ez. It comes with
factory defaults, such as a Holiday list and Time Schedules
for the most common applications such as determining
access privileges and setting Holidays.
The iAM utilizes the most advance high security
monitoring technique in the industry, providing user
selectable “5 state alarm monitoring”.
The 5 states provide individual zone adjustments for
cable length and cable size, providing a system with
the most accurate status monitoring. PCSC’s 5
state monitoring provides reliable, high security functionality
normally found in government requirements, assuring
you a system with virtually no false alarms. Each of
the 21 alarm zones is user selectable for “5
state” or dry contact monitoring.
The iAM is capable of recognizing a guard and
notifying the central station when the “special
guard” card is presented at a customer’s
site. No access to the premises will be granted unless
the site system is in “alarm state”.
The sophistication of high security access control
provides discriminating access logic. The incorporated
card reader provides automatic “disarming” of
Zone(s). It provides users the capability to determine
access privileges by time of day, workday, weekend
and holiday. It can also deny access if the system
has not been “disarmed” by a supervisor.
By providing a special logic for the handicapped and
cleaning crew, false alarm conditions can be avoided.
